How to apply to, study for, and pass the PMP
When I first heard about the PMP, I heard it was difficult, it’s true, you cannot pass it without studying. But it is something worth challenging.
As you worked in project management, you experienced directly how to manage a project successfully, however, this experience doesn’t always mean that you can pass the exam easily. Why?
Tools, techniques, concepts, processes, theories are not tested in real life. Your team has an optimal way of functioning, you know how to tailor the processes for your workmates, you may have used the tools and techniques that were already in use, created and refined by your organization.
By studying for the PMP certification, you will learn new tools, techniques, concepts, you will view the work that you were already doing in a fresh new way. You will be a better Project Manager for studying for it, and the certification will validate your efforts to the world.
