1. Tell me about a time when you disagreed with your stakeholders. What happened?

Good answer

One of our engineers working on an ERP software wanted to change part of the scope that “did not make sense”. I could have pushed him to do it, threatening him with sanctions if he did not want to cooperate but I listened to him. I listened to him carefully. Once I understood his point of view, I was still in disagreement with him. However, because I understood the reason behind his refusal, I could prepare an explanation detailed enough to convince him to do the work, without the spectre of sanction. When I disagree with a stakeholder I try to find out why.

Bad answer

I said “Who has two thumbs and is in charge?” pointed to myself, gave a few orders and continued my project
